Design Automation for Emerging Computing Systems
Ryosuke Matsuo
Assistant Professor, Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo
My research focuses on electronic design automation for emerging computing systems. I develop automated design methodologies for translating advanced computing models into practical hardware implementations, with current applications in quantum computing, photonic computing, and secure hardware.
Research Areas
Design Automation
Automated methodologies for synthesis, optimization, verification, and architecture exploration of emerging computing systems.
Quantum Computing Systems
EDA and hardware-aware design methodologies for scalable quantum computing systems, including control architectures and error-correction support.
Photonic and Optical Computing
Design automation techniques for optical and photonic computing systems, from logic synthesis to architecture-level exploration.
Secure Hardware
Design methodologies and circuit architectures for secure and confidential computing, including hardware-level protection mechanisms for emerging systems.
